Circa has a unique vision of circus as a delightful, challenging and contemporary artform. Our committed ensemble of multi-skilled performers work year round to explore (and extend) the limits of what circus can do. Difficult to describe but impossible to forget, Circa’s shows feature amazing skills pulled apart and re-invigorated. Our shows have been seen around Australia and overseas. Each year Circa performs to over 50 000 people.

Circa runs year-round circus training programs from its base at the Judith Wright Centre in Brisbane. We teach circus to ages 3 to 63, from absolute beginners to seasoned professionals. We deliver circus training to schools, regional areas and corporate clients. In 2008 we will host over 7000 workshop places.

Circa enjoys a range of valuable strategic partnerships. It receives triennial funding from the Australia Council’s Theatre Board and Arts Queensland. It works with a growing range of corporate and cultural sector partners to produce high-impact events and circus solutions.
